One of our top priorities is to make sure that all instructors, volunteers and powerboat drivers using any U Sail Safety Boat are wearing the Kill Cord. This devices cuts the engine should there be a driver man overboard.

In conditions deemed to be over 12 knots during a 420 and 29er course, mast head floats will be used to prevent entrapment if the boat does invert/ turtle all the way over.

We have a Mast Head Float and Entrapment Policy available on the 'Policies' page under the 'About Us' tab.

At U Sail Bermuda during a course run by an RYA Instructor, our aim is your safety as our number #1 priority.
