Hello everyone,
We have had a weird year so far as we continue to battle the covid-19 outbreak as we work together to minimize the transmission and ensuring social distancing, mask wearing and handwashing is met. We would like to thank you for your ongoing support to keep the community safe.
As you are probably aware, Bermuda has been issued with a tropical storm warning for storm Paulette which is most likely to become a hurricane.
We have made the decision to cancel this years annual Bart’s Bash Fun Race- The world’s largest fun race hosted globally by the Andrew Simpson Foundation: The Sailing Charity who’s aim is to change the lives of youth and increase participation worldwide. However, we hope to see you at next years date which will be released shortly.
As safety is our number #1 priority for both staff and customers, the centre will be closing at 5pm on Saturday, 12th September, 2020 to ensure our team has time to finalize their preparations for the storm.
The centre will be closed on Sunday, 13th September, 2020 and Monday, 14th September, 2020 due to storm Paulette which is forecast to become a hurricane.
We will communicate via our website blog, newsletter and social media channels on Tuesday, 15th September at 9:30 am about reopening of the centre after the storm has pasted and we have assessed the centre area.
On Behalf of the U Sail Bermuda Team,
We hope that you remain safe and healthy during the storm
Kind Regards,
Thomas Penruddocke
