{"id":1368,"date":"2021-09-18T23:00:36","date_gmt":"2021-09-19T02:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/usailbda.com\/?p=1368"},"modified":"2021-09-18T23:07:44","modified_gmt":"2021-09-19T02:07:44","slug":"bermudas-first-rya-start-windsurfing-instructor-course","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/usailbda.com\/bermudas-first-rya-start-windsurfing-instructor-course\/","title":{"rendered":"Bermuda\u2019s First RYA Start Windsurfing Instructor Course"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\">Making Royal Yachting Association History by hosting the first ever RYA Start Windsurfing Instructor Course in Bermuda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\">Since March 2020 during the Easter Holidays, Bermuda\u2019s first RYA Start Windsurfing Instructor course had been planned but then put on hold due to the coronavirus covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\">This past week Monday, 6<sup>th<\/sup> September until 10<sup>th<\/sup> September, we had 4 candidates, (3 local Bermudians,) take part in the 5-day course run at one of our Royal Yachting Association Accredited (RYA) recognised training centres. This course was run by an RYA Windsurfing Trainer and moderated at the end, by an independent RYA Windsurfing trainer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\">All 4 candidates, Adriana Penruddocke, Nancy Rickmann, Jade Smith and Moriah Wheddon qualified as RYA Start Windsurfing Instructors.
